Connections II (CNX II) is, with options, a 9-year 3-month multiple award contract that will be the federal government’s one-stop shop for obtaining telecommunications, network and communications solutions. This ID/IQ contract will: (1) meet government agencies’ equipment, building, and campus infrastructure needs, (2) and will provide professional services to support existing networks and (3) design customized client-specific solutions. CNX II can be used by federal agencies both domestically and internationally.


CNX II will also:

  • Provide access to highly-qualified, experienced government telephony focused vendors.
  • Complement and enhance Networx and regional telecommunications contracts.
  • Help agencies acquire network equipment under Supply Chain Risk Management principles and best practices.
  • Provide agencies access to Secret, Top Secret & TS/SCI cleared personnel.
  • Allow for fixed price and T&M types of contracts and provide agencies the choice of Direct Order or GSA Assisted Acquisition capability.
  • Provide four solution sets designed to maintain the spirit of the original Connections vehicle: Communications and Networking, Building/Campus Facility Preparation, Operations, Administration, and Management and Customer Services and Technical Support.

Verizon Refreshes Connections II Customer Web Site
Connections II customers can now enjoy an updated web site as they browse specific Verizon services under the contract. The same important information is available but in a new layout and design allowing for multi-device access, faster load time, and quicker browsing.
